If you rented a truck, go EARLY to pick it up.

If you hired movers, take the time to walk them through your house and and give them specifics on fragile or important items.

When your old house or apartment is empty, do a walkthrough to make sure it’s completely empty.

Always leave a note for the new owners with your contact information in case they find items like manuals etc.

Turn off the lights and lock up the old address, take the time to lock it down.

Inspect your new home and try and give the movers room to move around, they are working hard for you!

Immediately check all utilities as time will go fast and you don’t want to be making phone calls after hours.

Pour a glass of your favorite beverage and toast to a move well done and well planned.
